It’s time to do a little analysis of developments and changes in the educational blogosphere. Of course, there is no certainty that the teachers’ blogs actually bring about a revolution in school, but that they can help her change and solve the accumulated problems – in that now there’s no doubt. What this has happened, that gives me the right to make such strong statements? Summer with the hive – so can be called a time of hope, expectations, creativity, search, and work on educational materials of a distance course for teachers, “I am an educational blog”
What distinguishes this particular course from other forms of distance education teachers?
First, this course open, and was conceived as a course for everyone – teachers and all people involved in education. Education takes place in a specially organized learning environment that combines the use of several Web 2.0 services. This Google-group, Google-documents, and relatively new, so-called “Mashup-service” frendfid combining fukntsii RSS-channels, and microblogging.
Secondly, besides the given structure of its training modules (for the moment they laid out 14: 4 modules of the first stream + 10 modules of the second), it uses the principle of collective creation of educational materials for the course by the participants in learning (instruction, “obuchalok, development of lessons , methodical rekomenadtsy to them).
The main theme of the course – an educational blog and its use in the practice of a school teacher, school librarian, school administrator … Blog – completely new tool in the hands of a professional. These properties, as openness and publicity inherent in the interactivity it requires from the teacher’s ability to be completely different, to be ready to change and hard work of self-development. Blog can become not just a “diary” teachers, but also among the co-educational environment for the communication of teachers, pupils, parents, the environment for co-creation.
Agree that for such a “swing” some theoretical foundations for the blogging is not enough. Need more live practice and knowledge sharing in the community of teacher-bloggers. Hence there is a need to use to date a large set of tools for collaboration and exchange.
